Family Liason Role

lFamily Liaison & Inclusion Support Worker
Part-Time | Term Time Preferred
Approx. 8 hours per week (term time only + INSET as required)
Wednesday & Thursday mornings, plus alternate Fridays
Support Staff Pay Scale – Pro Rata

Main Responsibilities

  • Support vulnerable pupils and families through positive and relational pastoral work
  • Support attendance and punctuality work with identified families
  • Work alongside safeguarding leaders and contribute to early help support
  • Organise and facilitate parent coffee mornings and engagement events
  • Signpost families to external agencies and community support
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Support the school’s wider inclusion and wellbeing priorities such as pupil premium children involved in extra curriculum opportunities

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Warm, approachable and highly relational
  • Experienced in working with children and/or families
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding and vulnerable families
  • Organised, proactive and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Committed to inclusion, equity and community engagement
