The breakfast Club operates as a drop-in. There is no need to book in advance. Children must be at least 5 years old to attend. The breakfast club runs from 8.00 am to 8.55 am
NOTE Children will not be admitted after 8.30 am
We provide a healthy breakfast: cereal, toast, fruit juice, hot drinks plus one hours’ childcare in a safe and calm environment. The cost for this service is £2.50 per day for working families, £2.00 per day for families entitled to free school meals.
Brookfield After School Club (BASC)
In September 2019 we launched our very own After School Club. Catering for 5-11 year olds from the comfort and safety of the school environment. The club runs from 3.30-6pm Monday- Friday Bookings should be made termly, in advance using the booking form below.
We offer many free play and structured play activities for children. There is a variety of equipment available, which both captures and engages their imaginations. Children are also encouraged to read and take part in creative activities.
At the end of the School day, children booked into BASC will be escorted to the lower hall by their class teacher where they will be signed in by after school club staff.
Parents have the option to book for the first hour only (3.30-4.30pm) which will include access to the structured activities running on that day.

- Tuesday: Science (KS2) Art (KS1)
- Wednesday: Drumming (KS1) Ball sports (KS2)
- Thursday: Yoga, Debating (KS2) Homework club
- Friday: Board games and card games

Wraparound Care for EYFS children
We are also working in partnership with York Rise Nursery to offer wraparound care for children aged 3 years to 5 years. York Rise are offering before school sessions from 8am, including breakfast, and will then escort the children to school. There will also be an after school session, picking up from Brookfield at 3.30 with the option to stay until 6pm, including a light tea. York Rise will be providing a home from home environment for young children with lots of opportunity for play and socialisation with peers of a similar age.
