Laurel’s Update

This week I have had the pleasure of meeting with teachers and support staff to discuss the children in each class: their well-being and progress in reading writing and maths. It has been wonderful to celebrate their achievements and also to plan support for the Summer term. If you were not able to meet your child’s class teacher at Open Afternoon, please arrange another time to find out how they are doing and how you can support at home.

In this morning’s assembly I talked to the children about the elections that took place yesterday and who the candidates are for the next Mayor of London. We will look forward to finding out who has been successful and celebrating their achievement (our value this term).

Thank you to the Brookfield School Community for an enjoyable film night last Friday. Please see ‘Our learning week’ below to see how children enjoyed trips to the  Hampstead Heath Secret Garden, Omved Gardens and the Waitrose Cookery School.

I wish all out families a lovely May Bank Holiday Weekend.
