Laurel’s Update

What an absolute pleasure it was to celebrate International Evening with so many Brookfield families and staff yesterday evening. We came together as a community to celebrate the wonderful diversity of our school: sharing food, learning about countries in our child-led exhibition and being entertained with music and dance. Sincere thanks to our creative children, families who contributed amazing food, and for the commitment and organisation of our Anti-racism Committee and Brookfield School Community.

The children have also engaged in Science Week with interactive workshops and visits to the Crick Institute to inspire them in their skills and knowledge in this area while year 6 loved their trip to see Matilda the Musical.

I wish you all a joyful May half term and will look forward to seeing your cheery faces on Monday 3rd June.
