Laurels Update

As I write my update this week the sun is shining after a morning of rain and showers. Blossom is appearing and I am looking forward to seeing our Forest Garden in Spring for the first time. If you are available, please come and help us plant some trees and improve our learning environments, by volunteering at our community day on Saturday 16th March 11-3pm.

We are looking forward to World Book Day next Thursday and celebrating with a range of events through the week including a visits from authors Effua Gleed, Nadia Ragozhina and Carl Wilkinson. Thursday will be an opportunity for children, and staff, to dress up as a book character and we will be running a book swap all week if children have a book they no longer read and would like to try a new one!

Please enjoy reading about the children’s learning and experiences in this week’s ‘Our Learning Week’.

Our Learning Week

We hope you enjoy reading about some of the learning activities that our children have been a part of this week
