Laurel’s Update

One of the highlights of my week was hosting one of our new child-led lunchtime clubs. The children’s enthusiasm for ‘Pokemon Club’ was a wonderful thing to see and it is a great example of pupil leadership. Other innovative clubs include: dance, book and music jam! Thanks to our inspiring children for inventing and running these creative lunchtime activities.

This week, Oak class launched the Spring term workshops and trips with a fascinating visit to the Camden Archive Centre to support their History learning. This is an opportunity to remind all parents and carers that they need to confirm that children can attend trips and contribute if they can. Please read this letter and let the office know if you need any help.

Emma Jay, Chair of Governors, and I would like to invite you to a coffee morning where we will reflect on the year so far, look ahead and respond to questions and recommendations. This will be at 9am on Wednesday 31st January in the music room.
