PE Parent Survey
This year, we will be having a whole school focus on PE to transform the mental and physical health of our pupils.
Because of this, we would like to ask you to complete this online questionnaire about clubs your child is currently part of and how active they are outside of school.
The questionnaire will take around 5 minutes and we will collect this data on Friday
15th September.

We're keeping the newsletter light this week - Check back next week for more updates. If you would like help with the cost of living crisis, please get in touch with us.
A warm hello from the Brookfield Climate Action Group section of the newsletter! If you’ve not yet come across the CAG we’re a friendly bunch of parents and carers providing support to the school and community to be as climate friendly and sustainable as possible, through sharing information, ideas and expertise around local and national climate activism. All are welcome to join with absolutely no pressure to actively participate unless, or until, you have the space.
To give a sense of what we get up to: in the past year we’ve initiated litterpicking and waste management at International Evening, supported fundraising for the Forest Garden, created Buy/Sell/Give WhatsApp groups for parents and carers, and arranged bird box building workshops for Y5 and 6. We are currently working on potential renewable energy options for Brookfield with community groups, including Power Up North London; supporting parents, carers and governors working on the Forest Garden build; a net zero buildings refit; climate workshops to help pupils, teachers and parents feel empowered to tackle the the climate crisis; and developing a Sustainability Masterplan Resource Pack for the school.
This week many of us will be connecting with other members of the local community at York Rise Street Party on Sunday the 10th September from noon. There’ll be stalls run by Friends of the Earth, Think & Do (local community space for climate and social action) and XR Camden who are running wood block printing. Don’t forget your sunblock and reusable water bottle… Extra points for bringing a cup from home for any drinks purchased. You might even be able to pick up a sun hat bargain on one of the pre-loved clothes stalls, very local and sustainable indeed.
We give these weekly mini updates here in our ‘Save the Planet with Brookfield’ section of this newsletter. But to be better kept up to date with CAG projects - or to get involved if you can, email: kate.taylor@gmail.com
