Laurel’s Update

This week, I would like to thank all the children and staff who contributed to our welcoming, inclusive and joyful International Evening 2023! The food was as delicious as it was varied and the performances representative and inspiring. Well done to the Anti-Racism Committee for organising what we hope will now be an annual feature on the Brookfield calendar.

On Wednesday evening, year 6 presented The Lion King at the Arundel Theatre, Channing School. The production was so impressive including star acting performances, moving singing, rhythmic drumming and refined art work. Thanks to the brilliant year 6 children and the team of dedicated staff and volunteers who directed and supported them.

Children had the opportunity to meet their new class teachers and classrooms on Thursday. We look forward to a final week of learning together as we prepare for September 2023!
