Laurel’s Update

Congratulations to all our year 6 children who have embodied our value of achievement this week by completing their Statutory Assessment Tests (SATs). They have demonstrated resilience, effort and confidence while taking tests in Maths, Reading, Grammar and Spelling. We look forward to celebrating the progress they have made over their time at Brookfield. They enjoyed an outing to Channing’s theatre to see a performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and have a West End Theatre trip planned for next week!

Keri has been an inspirational Learning Support Assistant in year 4 this year and we wish her a wonderful adventure when she leave us at the end of May to travel in South America. Sophie, who has been supporting in year 2 will be moving into this role for the end of the year.

Please consider making a small (or large) prize donation to our PTA auction which is being organised to raise money for our new Forest School Garden by emailing the PTA brookfieldschoolpta@gmail.com

I hope you managed to have a ready of our new newsletter section with information and tips from the Brookfield Climate Action group.
