Laurel’s Update

A quick update on our direct donation campaign for the PTA that we launched last week. I’m delighted to say that 28 families have donated to the PTA with 24 of those setting up regular payments – a fantastic start, and thank you. Our aim is to raise two thirds of the annual PTA income from donations, so we are around 40% of the way to our target. Please do read the letter if you haven’t already, and here is the donation form: https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/20837

If we manage to get to the target, we can make sure that all Brookfield children get the full range of PTA-funded activities such as forest school, trips, FAB and much more. Even small donations help. Thank you, and do let us know if you have any questions or want to help. One thought – grandparents can donate too.

Please read the PTA updates below to find out about the exciting events coming up: Halloween dress up day on Friday (with collections for the school on the gates) and Fun Run!

If you have any concerns about the rising cost of living, please consider reaching out to justina@hncp.org.uk at Highgate Newtown Community Partners. They offer individual or group advice and can be contacted on 079 6225 9349.

We have been celebrating Black History Month and welcome parents and carers to come into school to share their histories and heritage. Please read this letter for further information.

Our PE Coach advert is live and we invite parents and carers to share this with their contacts.

Next Wednesday, 18th October 5.30-6.30pm, we are welcoming prospective parents to visit Brookfield and hear from existing children and parents about their experience in an event hosted by ‘Meet the Parents’. We have secured some parents and children for this event and would love more – if you are interested and available, please contact the office.
