Laurel’s Update
You will be aware that the Government has announced that the country will be moving to Step 4 on 19th July. This will mean the relaxing of the majority of restrictions including the recommendation that children will be kept in consistent groups ‘bubbles’. We intend to keep our current risk assessment and routines in place until the end of term and I will write to you before the end of term with details for plans for September.
Sunday evening marks the momentous occasion of England reaching the final’s in the European Football Championship. I have been inspired reading about the teamwork and leadership that has led to this achievement. While school will be open at the usual times on Monday, if it works for you and your family, you are welcome to bring your child(ren) in at the later time of 11.15am without a late mark! All gates will be open as usual for this. Let’s hope we will be celebrating, and either way, an opportunity to be together, to talk about resilience, embracing challenge and responsibility.
End of term finish times
Please note that school finishes early on Friday 23rd July.
1pm Nursery, year 2 and 6
1.05pm Years 1 and 5

Parent & Carer Workshops
Thanks to the parents and carers who joined Laurel and Jo on Thursday to ask questions and provide feedback.

Year 6 Leaver’s Assembly
We would like to invite you to the Year 6 Leavers Assembly on Friday 23rd of July at 9.30am. This will be an opportunity for the children to share their memories of Brookfield and celebrate their achievements and highlights of the year.
The assembly will take place in the bottom hall. Please enter through the infant gates from 9.20am. For any questions please email: year6@brookfield.camden.sch.uk
We look forward to seeing you there!
The Year 6 Team
Year 6 production of Bugsy Malone
This week the children performed their fantastic production of ‘Bugsy Malone’. The hall was transformed into our very own ‘Speak Easy’ and parents and carers made a wonderful effort ‘glamming up’ for the occasion! The performance was brilliant and we were so impressed by the quality of the children’s performance. With two evening performances, we couldn’t have been prouder of the children who, despite being tired, put in 100% effort each time. Thank you so much to everyone who made this evening possible and well done year 6!

End of Term Reminders
As we approach the end of the academic year, please ensure that you check and clear any balance on your child’s dinner, breakfast, and after school club monies.
