Please speak to staff or email if you have any recommendations. Thank you to the parents who attended the Birkbeck University coffee morning and found out about the scholarships available to Camden residents – more to follow. Here is a picture of the Film Night held at Brookfield yesterday evening – a wonderful community event. Many thanks to Lizzie and her team of volunteers who kept us entertained, well fed and watered!

Tilly in Y6 wanted to share the following:
I have been attending a martial arts class at La Sainte Union School for around 5 years. It has been a really life changing experience for me. I have made lots of friends along the way and it has helped me build up my fitness, concentration and confidence. At the end of year show, everybody got a medal and I was awarded ‘child of the year’ first place. If you would like your child to have a go at these classes on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays please visit http://www.sas-martialarts.co.uk or email saswingchun@gmail.com.

The Auction
2 weeks to go! There are a few tickets left, some amazing prizes and the online auction is now LIVE. Here’s how it all works.

On the night
The items to be auctioned on the night are here – you can bid in advance (a proxy bid) if you can’t make the event. Tickets (only a few left) are here.
Prizes include:
- TICKETS – to Wimbledon (2x centre court); to Spurs and Arsenal and Chelsea
- WEEKENDS AWAY – in Lewes, the Brecon Beacons, and more
- HOLIDAY to the Arctic
- PRIVATE CLASSES for kids and adults – dance classes, swimming, tennis, and football
- TOURS – of art galleries, law courts, and the BBC
The web auction
We have some amazing prizes to bid online NOW (as of today, Friday) – some are auction (like eBay), some are fixed price. There’s a huge range of prices and some amazing bargains to be had. Get buying / bidding.
Prizes include:
- Wine tasting, a BBC tour, weekend by the sea
- Fashion items – boots and earrings
- Football tickets (spurs)
- … and amazing donations by our wonderful teachers– including afternoon tea, a theatre trip, arts and crafts, and the hugely popular HOMEWORK PASSES.
Raffle
There is also a fantastic raffle with some brilliant prizes.
- Including vouchers, babysitting, and a Harry Potter tour
- Buy in the playground in the mornings and at pick up
Small print: The reason for two auctions is that not everyone can come to the event on the 6th – and in any case we wouldn’t have time to auction all the generously-donated items on the night. So we split some for ‘on-the-night’, some for online-only, and some prizes for the raffle.
