A message from the Chair of Governors, Mike Yule:
We are delighted to announce that the recruitment panel of governors has appointed
Laurel Robin (née Fleck) to be our new permanent Headteacher. This follows a rigorous
process in which the post was openly advertised, applications received, and four able
candidates shortlisted.Selection took place on the 7th and 8th February. We had in attendance both June
Haddock, our professional partner and Jon Abbey, head of Camden Learning, who helped
interview the candidates during the selection process. The final decision was unanimous
and has also been ratified by the full governing body.I hope you agree that this is very exciting news. As of today, Laurel is no longer Interim
Headteacher but permanent Headteacher of Brookfield. We wish her and her team every
success and offer our full support in helping make the school we cherish an even better
place to send our children.
