I have been so pleased to serve as a local authority governor at Brookfield for many years during which time I have seen significant and exciting developments in all aspects of school life. Standards of achievement have risen but some things have remained much the same, such as the determination to relate to the whole needs of each individual child. My background is in social work and social work education. I live very close to the school and applaud the links between the school and the local community. I chair the Personnel, Salaries and Wellbeing Committee
